Arrive in winter

Open the ventilation flap to the right of the deer antlers and pull up the chimney sliding window.

Light the stack of wood at the top like a candle.
Leave the sliding window of the chimney open until the smoke goes away, then close it and only add more wood when you can only see embers.

Please do not heat the tiled stove or only after consultation.

Turn on the gas bottle under the grill, with the lid open, set both regulators to "9 o'clock" and ignite with the red button.
After grilling, "burn fat" at full power for 5 minutes and please clean the grate with a steel brush. Turn off the gas.

A spare bottle is in the chamber next to the grill. Here you will also find seat pads, blankets and an extra parasol for the evening sunset.

The gym /playroom is under the sun terrace and can only be reached from the garden

Here you will find dumbbells, yoga mats, a compact table tennis table and a professional dartboard including darts.

For the kids there is also a climbing wall, magnetic dartboard, hanging ropes, a cool balance board...

TV in the music room:
"Alexa, TV on" or switch on with the Amazon remote control. Both the voice command and the Alexa Remote turn on the TV and receiver at the same time. Continue with the Amazon remote control. Receiver should switch to “MHL” automatically.

 
View Blueray :

Press " disc" on kaman / kardon remote, insert Blueray and start. Control volume with harman / kardon or via Alexa.

"Wildsau" mountain hut
The trail starts at the house and it takes about 45 minutes to walk up the hill to the “Wildsau”, a mountain hut with service +43 664 5504839, open thurs-sun 10 a.m. to 5 p.m

20-minute walk from the house down the hill, in the direction of Alpbachtal, +43 5337 64395, open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. – closed on wednesdays

The fuse box is on the outside to the right of the front door. You find the key in the entrance area, in the wooden bowl on the cupboard.

The heating thermostat is to the left of the passage to the conservatory - it regulates the whole house. Rooms cannot be regulated individually, except with the electric heater in the children's room and the infrared heater in the rear bedroom.

The gym/playroom is not connected with this thermostat and can only be heated by a infrared heater inside the room.

Neighbour cats " Blitzi " & Co.

The black-and-white neighbour's cat "Blitzi" is very trusting and cuddly - if the doors are open, she will look for a place to sleep in the living room and "demand" food in the kitchen. Just feel free to let her in or leave her outside.

Other cats keep appearing – please don’t let them into the house.
